Finding the safest way to wean fragile preemies off breathing machines

NCT ID NCT07202299

Summary

This study aims to find the best way to help premature babies with severe breathing problems transition off a specialized ventilator. Researchers will compare two different weaning plans in 110 infants to see which one leads to fewer failures and complications. The goal is to establish a safer process for moving these fragile newborns to less intensive breathing support.
