Can breathing exercises calm your nerves? new study investigates
NCT ID NCT07445113
Summary
This study aims to understand how different types of slow, deep breathing training affect the body's automatic nervous system, which controls things like heart rate and blood pressure. Researchers will enroll 60 healthy adults and randomly assign them to practice specific breathing techniques or receive general breathing education. The goal is to measure changes in heart rate patterns and other body signals to see if this breathing can improve the body's natural relaxation response.
