Summary
This study is testing whether a special approach to anesthesia and surgery that helps patients keep breathing on their own can improve recovery after lung transplants. It focuses on patients who are severely underweight, a group at higher risk for complications. The goal is to see if this method reduces the need for breathing machines after surgery and shortens hospital stays while keeping patients safe.
