First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study looked at whether adding special breathing muscle training to running programs helps 10-13-year-old male football players improve their exercise tolerance, agility, and breathing. 75 healthy boys who had been training for at least two years took part. They were split into groups based on their natural sleep-wake patterns and did the training for six weeks. The goal was to see if the breathing training made a difference in their performance.
