First seen Apr 25, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study looks at whether special breathing exercises (inspiratory muscle training) can improve lung function, walking ability, and quality of life in people aged 50+ who had spine surgery for osteoporosis-related fractures. Participants will be split into two groups: one doing breathing exercises plus standard rehab, the other doing standard rehab alone. The goal is to see if adding breathing training helps recovery after surgery.
