New breathing technique tested for struggling premature babies
NCT ID NCT07307079
Summary
This study compared two non-invasive breathing support methods for premature babies with respiratory distress syndrome who didn't improve with standard treatment. Researchers tested a newer high-frequency technique against conventional ventilation in 100 infants to see which better improved breathing and reduced complications. The goal was to find safer, effective options for vulnerable newborns in resource-limited settings.
