Gentler breathing help tested for struggling newborns

NCT ID NCT07176117

Summary

This study aims to find out which breathing support method works better for late preterm and early term newborns with respiratory distress syndrome. Researchers will compare standard CPAP (a mask that helps keep airways open) to CPAP combined with a gentle surfactant delivery method using a small airway device. The goal is to see which approach leads to fewer complications and a shorter hospital stay for these infants.
