Can simple breathing fix stubborn ear woes?
NCT ID NCT07193485
Summary
This study is testing whether a specific breathing technique called Buteyko can help seniors who have a long-term problem with ear pressure and fullness (Eustachian tube dysfunction). Forty older adults in Egypt will receive standard medication, and half will also practice the breathing exercises twice daily for 14 weeks. Researchers will check if the exercises improve ear symptoms, quality of life, and stress levels.
