Summary
This study tested whether a specific diaphragm breathing exercise could improve lung function and physical fitness in young adults who are heavy smokers. Researchers worked with 40 participants aged 20-29 who had been smoking for 1-3 years. They measured lung capacity and walking endurance to see if the breathing exercises made a difference.
