Simple exercises aim to boost Smokers' fitness
NCT ID NCT07257783
Summary
This study tested whether a 6-week program of Buteyko breathing exercises combined with posture stability training could improve how well young adult smokers use oxygen during exercise. Researchers worked with 46 male smokers aged 18-30 to see if these exercises could enhance lung function, oxygen levels, and exercise capacity. The goal was to find non-medical ways to help offset some smoking-related breathing challenges.
