Can simple breathing exercises make childbirth easier?

NCT ID NCT07357246

Summary

This study tested whether guided breathing exercises during labor could help reduce pain and improve satisfaction with the birth experience. It involved 90 women in active labor who were randomly assigned to either receive structured breathing guidance from student midwives or standard care. The goal was to see if this non-drug approach could make labor more manageable and lead to a more positive birth memory.
