Summary
This study aims to find the right level of breathing exercise to strengthen the diaphragm in patients who have trouble coming off a ventilator. Researchers will test four different exercise levels on 40 adults with a tracheostomy, measuring muscle effort and asking patients how they feel. The goal is to create a program that is both effective and comfortable for patients.
