Could a common Post-Birth condition affect your breathing?

NCT ID NCT07389993

Summary

This study aims to understand if a common postpartum condition called diastasis recti abdominis (abdominal muscle separation) is linked to changes in breathing muscle function. Researchers will compare diaphragm characteristics and breathing strength in two groups of women who have given birth: those with the condition and those without. The goal is to gather knowledge to inform future rehabilitation approaches, not to test a treatment.
