Could a simple breathing trick ease the dizzying struggle of POTS?

NCT ID NCT00962728

Summary

This study is testing whether a special breathing device can help people with Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS) stand up for longer periods. POTS causes symptoms like dizziness, fatigue, and a racing heart when upright. The researchers want to see if breathing through this device reduces the heart rate spike and improves tolerance to standing in 30 participants.
