First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 21 times

Summary

This study looks at whether adding specific breathing exercises to core strengthening workouts can improve lung function, blood sugar levels, and quality of life in people with Type 2 diabetes. About 56 adults aged 30-55 will be split into two groups: one doing diaphragmatic breathing and the other doing Pilates breathing, both combined with core exercises for six weeks. The goal is to see which breathing technique works better for managing diabetes-related health issues.
