New study: can simple breathing ease stiff spine disease?
NCT ID NCT07262294
Summary
This study is testing whether adding deep breathing exercises to standard core stability workouts helps people with ankylosing spondylitis (AS). Researchers will measure if this combination improves lung function and walking ability in 30 adults with stable AS. The goal is to see if focusing on breathing can provide extra benefits beyond typical exercises for this condition.
