Simple breathing tool may speed recovery after major liver surgery
NCT ID NCT07318766
Summary
This study tested whether using a simple breathing exercise device, called an incentive spirometer, helps people recover after a liver transplant. Researchers compared 40 patients who did standard breathing exercises with or without the extra device. They measured blood oxygen levels and tracked how long patients stayed in the hospital to see if the device made recovery easier and faster.
