NCT ID NCT07384546

First seen Feb 03, 2026 · Last updated May 07, 2026 · Updated 12 times

Summary

This study tests a new anesthesia and surgery method that lets lung transplant patients breathe on their own during and after the operation, avoiding a breathing tube. Researchers want to see if this 'tubeless' approach helps patients leave the hospital sooner and stay safe. About 110 adults with end-stage lung disease will take part at several hospitals in China.
