Dogs and AI sniff out breast cancer in new study

NCT ID NCT07266194

Summary

This study aims to validate a new test called SpotitEarly that uses trained dogs and artificial intelligence to detect breast cancer from a person's breath. Researchers will enroll 500 women who are either scheduled for routine breast cancer screening or a breast biopsy. The accuracy of the breath test will be compared to standard medical results to see if it can reliably identify cancer.
