Scientists read your Breath's RNA code after a hard workout

NCT ID NCT07324252

Summary

This small pilot study tested whether tiny RNA molecules in exhaled breath can be reliably measured and whether they change after intense exercise. Researchers collected breath samples from 14 people (11 healthy volunteers and 3 with lung conditions) before and after a maximum effort exercise test. The goal was to see if this non-invasive method could one day help detect lung diseases.
