First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study looks at whether having a baby's first checkup and a breastfeeding consultation in one appointment helps mothers breastfeed longer. About 246 new mothers who plan to breastfeed will be split into two groups: one gets combined visits, the other separate visits. Researchers will track breastfeeding rates at several points up to a year after birth.
