New study tests if extra support helps new moms breastfeed longer

Summary
This study will test whether giving new mothers extra breastfeeding advice and support helps them breastfeed exclusively for 6 months. About 160 mothers of healthy full-term newborns will take part. Half will get the usual care, and half will also get special counseling. The goal is to see if the extra support leads to more babies being fed only breast milk.
