Summary
This study looked at 140 women who had a C-section to see if the type of anesthesia (general vs. regional) changes the levels of natural antioxidants in their breast milk. Researchers collected a small milk sample 6 hours after surgery. The goal was to understand how different anesthesia methods might affect the quality of early breast milk.
