Can a simple massage unlock more breast milk for new moms?

NCT ID NCT07077655

Summary

This study is testing two gentle, hands-on techniques to see if they can help new mothers produce more breast milk and feel less anxious after having a cesarean section. Researchers will compare the Marmet technique (a specific hand massage and expression method) and oxytocin massage (light touch on the back and shoulders) against a simple touch. They will measure the amount of milk mothers can express and their anxiety levels before and after the techniques.
