Doctors seek answers for rare breast condition with no clear treatment rules
NCT ID NCT06133465
Summary
This study looked back at the medical records of over 1,000 patients to understand how doctors currently diagnose and treat two rare, high-risk types of abnormal breast cells (FLCIS and PLCIS). The goal was to gather real-world evidence on what treatments are used and how well they work, because there are no official international guidelines for managing these conditions. Researchers hope this data will help create clearer, more consistent treatment recommendations in the future.
