New mesh tested to stop painful breast implant scarring from coming back

Summary
This study is testing whether a thin, flexible mesh called GalaFLEX LITE™ can help prevent painful scar tissue (capsular contracture) from returning after revision surgery for breast implants. About 250 women who need surgery to fix this painful scarring will be randomly assigned to receive the new mesh or standard care. Researchers will compare how often the scarring comes back and check for complications over two years.
