Summary
This study tested an oral drug called (Z)-endoxifen in 240 premenopausal women with dense breasts. Dense breast tissue is a known risk factor for breast cancer. The goal was to see if the drug could safely reduce breast density over 6 months, potentially lowering future cancer risk. Participants were randomly assigned to receive different doses or a placebo.
