Can a computer help spot cancer in dense breasts?
NCT ID NCT07415499
Summary
This study looks back at the mammograms of 3,300 women to see how breast density affects cancer detection. Dense breast tissue can make tumors harder to see on a mammogram, potentially leading to missed cancers or unnecessary extra tests. The research also tests a new software tool designed to help radiologists measure breast density more consistently.
