Letting babies crawl to breast may boost feeding success

NCT ID NCT07149766

Summary

This study observed whether allowing a newborn to instinctively crawl to the mother's breast in the first hour after birth improves breastfeeding. Researchers compared mothers and babies who did this 'breast crawl' to those who followed standard hospital care. They measured the mother's comfort and confidence with breastfeeding to see if this natural start made a difference.
