New hope for metastatic breast cancer patients when standard therapy fails

NCT ID NCT07163481

Summary

This early-stage trial is testing a new combination of two drugs for people with a specific type of advanced breast cancer that has spread and has gotten worse after their first line of treatment. The study aims to see if combining a newer targeted drug (sacituzumab govitecan) with standard hormone therapy is safe and can help control the cancer. It will enroll a small group of patients to check for side effects and see if the treatment shows promise.
