Scientists test timing of Immune-Boosting shots for breast cancer patients
NCT ID NCT05296317
Summary
This study aimed to find the best schedule for giving white blood cell booster shots (called G-CSF) to breast cancer patients receiving chemotherapy. Researchers compared two different injection timings to see which one better prevented dangerous drops in infection-fighting cells. The goal was to help patients complete their chemotherapy with fewer treatment delays or infections.
