Scientists hunt for breast Cancer's hidden blueprint in patient samples
NCT ID NCT01840293
Summary
This study aims to understand the specific proteins and molecular changes in breast cancer tumors, especially when cancer returns or spreads. Researchers will collect tissue and blood samples from about 1,780 patients with primary or recurrent/metastatic breast cancer during their standard treatment. The goal is to learn how these biological markers relate to patient outcomes and to find clues for developing better future treatments.
