New scan aims to sharpen the picture of stubborn breast cancer

NCT ID NCT06745804

Summary

This early-stage study is testing a new radioactive imaging tracer called 68Ga-R10602 to see if it can better locate tumors in people with advanced, hormone-positive breast cancer. The study will enroll about 36 adults whose cancer has progressed despite prior treatments. The main goals are to check the safety of the tracer and see how well it shows tumors on a PET/CT scan compared to standard imaging.
