New hope for fighting breast cancer in the brain
NCT ID NCT07150208
Summary
This study is testing whether adding a second drug (bevacizumab) to a newer cancer treatment (trastuzumab deruxtecan) works better for controlling a specific type of advanced breast cancer that has spread to the brain. It will involve 140 people whose cancer has a low level of a protein called HER2 and has spread to the brain. Participants will be randomly assigned to receive one drug or the combination to see which is more effective and safe.
