First seen Nov 19, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study tests if using a special heat probe inside the bile duct, along with standard chemotherapy and immunotherapy, helps people with advanced bile duct cancer live longer. About 120 adults whose cancer cannot be removed by surgery will be randomly assigned to get the heat treatment plus a plastic stent, or just the stent alone. The main goal is to see if the heat treatment improves overall survival.
