Volunteer training may sharpen dementia skills in older adults

Summary

This study looks at whether a special training program for volunteers aged 50 and over can improve their knowledge about dementia and their own wellbeing. About 180 volunteers in Hong Kong will either take the training or just receive educational materials. Researchers will compare the two groups to see if the training makes a difference.
