Brain scan could predict your dental pain
NCT ID NCT07445633
Summary
This study aimed to see if a simple brain wave scan before a root canal could help predict which patients might experience more pain afterwards. Researchers recorded brain activity from 100 adults before their procedure and then asked them to track their pain levels. The goal was to learn if brain patterns could serve as an early warning sign for post-treatment pain.
