Can your brain waves predict your Wake-Up time from surgery?

NCT ID NCT07254975

Summary

This study aims to understand if a specific pattern of brain activity during surgery is linked to how long it takes a patient to wake up from general anesthesia. Researchers will observe 70 healthy adults having elective surgery, using a standard brain monitor to record activity. The goal is to see if lower 'alpha wave' power means a longer recovery time, which could help doctors personalize anesthesia in the future.
