Mapping the hidden highways of the Brain's blood flow
NCT ID NCT07206667
Summary
This study aims to better understand how the veins that drain blood from the brain and upper neck change after surgery in that area. Researchers will observe 30 adult patients undergoing specific brain or spine surgeries. By comparing detailed MRI scans taken before and after the operation, they hope to learn how the body reroutes blood flow, which could help improve surgical planning and reduce complications like headaches for future patients.
