Summary

This study tested two different fluid monitoring methods during brain tumor removal surgery. Researchers wanted to see which method better controlled a blood marker (lactate) and helped keep the brain relaxed during the operation. The trial involved 32 adult patients having surgery for brain tumors above the brainstem.
