Mind over voices: brain training fights schizophrenia hallucinations
NCT ID NCT05299749
Summary
This study is testing whether a special brain scan can help people with schizophrenia learn to control the brain activity linked to hearing voices. It involves 104 adults with schizophrenia whose hallucinations haven't improved with medication. Participants will receive either real or sham feedback during brain scans to see if the real training reduces the frequency or intensity of their auditory hallucinations.
