Summary

This study used brain scans (fMRI) and follow-up surveys to understand why some young African American vapers are more likely to start smoking cigarettes. 24 participants aged 18-29 who vaped but did not smoke took part. The goal was to find brain markers that predict tobacco use and how people respond to anti-vaping ads.
