First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 28 times
Summary
This study used brain scans and surveys to understand why some young African American vapers may start smoking cigarettes. 24 participants completed a brain scan and answered questions about their vaping and smoking habits over the next month. The goal was to find brain markers that predict tobacco use and how people respond to anti-vaping ads.
