Scientists probe Brain's reward center in mood disorders
NCT ID NCT05384158
Summary
This study aims to understand how the brain processes rewards and losses in people experiencing depressed mood, anxiety, or a lack of pleasure (anhedonia). Researchers will use computer games and brain scans to measure these responses and see if they change over time or with therapy. The goal is to gather knowledge about the brain mechanisms behind these common symptoms.
