Scientists zap brains to unlock secrets of movement

NCT ID NCT05739994

Summary

This study aimed to understand how different parts of the brain help us sense where our limbs are and learn new movement skills. Researchers used safe, non-invasive brain stimulation on 118 healthy adults while they performed hand movement tasks. The goal is to gather knowledge that could one day help design better rehabilitation programs for people with movement problems, like after a stroke.
