Brain scans probe the hidden cause of exhaustion in cerebral palsy
NCT ID NCT07059702
Summary
This study aims to find out if the severe fatigue common in people with cerebral palsy (CP) is caused by muscle issues or by specific activity patterns in the brain. Researchers will use brain scans (EEG and PET) on 50 adults with CP who experience different levels of fatigue. The goal is to identify a 'fatigue network' in the brain, which could lead to more targeted support and treatments in the future.
