Scientists find new brain zapping method more powerful

NCT ID NCT07431697

Summary

This study tested whether a new, faster pattern of non-invasive brain stimulation (100Hz) could boost brain activity more effectively than the standard pattern (50Hz). In 22 healthy young adults, researchers measured brain activity with MRI and muscle responses after each type of stimulation. They found the new 100Hz pattern created stronger and more reliable increases in brain activity, suggesting it could be a better tool for future research.
