Scientists zap brains to map stroke recovery

NCT ID NCT07431749

Summary

This study aims to test a new method for measuring how different sides of the brain communicate after a stroke. Researchers will use magnetic pulses on the scalp to measure brain signals in 20 stroke survivors and 20 healthy people. The goal is to see if this new measurement is reliable and to test different stimulation patterns that might one day help guide recovery therapies.
