Zapping the brain to understand language in memory loss

NCT ID NCT07449117

First seen Mar 20, 2026 · Last updated May 04, 2026 · Updated 5 times

Summary

This study explores whether a gentle, non-invasive brain stimulation technique called temporal interference stimulation can temporarily change how the brain processes language in people with mild cognitive impairment. Researchers will use brain scans and language tasks to compare the effects of real stimulation versus a placebo. The goal is to learn more about brain networks involved in language, not to provide a treatment.
