Zapping the brain to help stroke patients swallow again

NCT ID NCT06305949

Summary

This study is testing if a gentle, non-invasive brain stimulation technique can temporarily improve swallowing function in people who have difficulty swallowing after a stroke. It will compare the real stimulation to a fake (sham) treatment in about 30 participants. The main goal is to see if this approach is safe and if it helps people eat and drink more safely by measuring changes in swallowing ability.
